About Twin Lakes Center
Twin Lakes Center is a drug and alcohol rehab facility located in Somerset, Pennsylvania. They started in 1983 and continue to provide inpatient and outpatient treatment to people with substance and alcohol use disorders.
Treatment is available to clients who use intravenous drugs including pregnant women. I noticed that they also welcome those who've survived a drug overdose and veterans with substance use problems.
Detox Management
If you have drugs in your system, they can put you into detox treatment where you’ll have 24-hour day observation by a trained medical staff. They can provide you with medications for substance withdrawal symptoms.
Residential Treatment
The residential facility is located on a serene lake. Clients enjoy both group and individual therapy. You will be offered family therapy if you need it.
I love how everyone has plenty of time to relax and they provide a state-of-the-art gym. You can also go fishing on the property. I like their recreational activities here, such as hiking and board games. The setup encourages you to interact with fellow clients.
Outpatient Services
They offer intensive outpatient services as well as a standard program. Drug and alcohol education classes are offered to people who’ve been convicted of DUI. They also provide a victim's impact panel where you will hear the stories of people who are the victims of impaired drivers.
