TrueNorth Wellness Services in York, Pennsylvania is a nonprofit, trauma informed substance use treatment provider that has served Central Pennsylvania for more than 50 years.
The York office offers outpatient substance use treatment within a broader continuum that includes counseling and psychiatry, peer support and children's services.

What kinds of treatment are offered?
The York location provides outpatient and regular outpatient substance use treatment focused on education, self awareness and healthy coping skills.
Approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, contingency management, 12 step facilitation and trauma related counseling, along with individual and group, family and couples sessions.
Recovery supports include case management and peer mentoring, discharge planning and naloxone education.

TrueNorth serves adults with substance use disorders and co-occurring serious mental health conditions, as well as children and adolescents through broader agency services.
School based Student Assistance Program services also support York and Adams County students, and sign language services are available for people who are deaf or hard of hearing.

The York office is at 1195 Roosevelt Avenue and is part of a service network spanning York, Gettysburg and Hanover, Harrisburg and other Central Pennsylvania communities.
