Cook Inlet Tribal Council Ernie Turner Center is located in Chugiak, Alaska. They work with individuals, families and youth to meet you where you are in your journey and help you get to a better place. They specialize in substance use treatment and support programs for youth.

Recovery and Reentry

Their Recovery and Reentry program is designed to help you at each stage of recovery from substance abuse. They have residential and outpatient programs here, and they use alumni and peer support along with individual and group counseling to help you maintain sobriety. I noticed they also have a program to help adults coming back into society after being incarcerated.

Adolescents and Young Adults

This program help people aged 14 to 22 years old who have recently been released from a youth detention facility. They want to help you build self-awareness, maintain motivation and learn how to promote healthy relationships.

They’ll provide academic assistance and mentoring, support groups and referrals to community services that would work best for you. They can refer you for behavioral health care, jobs, and or legal services if needed.

I really like how they focus on adolescents and young adults who have been in the juvenile system.
