About Touchstone Mental Health

Touchstone Mental Health is a Minneapolis based nonprofit behavioral health organization providing community based mental health services for adults across the Twin Cities region.

The organization offers adult rehabilitative mental health services, care coordination and targeted case management for adults living with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders.

Touchstone takes a whole person wellness approach, helping clients move forward in recovery and build meaningful lives in their communities.

Community Based Mental Health

Touchstone's core focus is supporting adults with serious and persistent mental illness through ARMHS and targeted case management.

Services help clients build stability in everyday life, with eligibility for case management extending to Hennepin and Dakota County residents who have Medical Assistance and a qualifying diagnosis.

Sessions emphasize practical skill building in areas like emotional regulation, social skills and budgeting, household management and employment readiness.

Additional supports may include counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy and trauma informed care, relapse prevention and telehealth options. I want to note that reviewers have shared that the program helped them grow as people and develop new skills.

Housing Support

Touchstone is equipped to serve adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use needs, integrating recovery education, wellness training and psychosocial rehab.

I appreciate that the organization also connects clients with housing services and supported housing, recognizing that stable living is foundational to long term recovery.

An explicit commitment to equity and inclusion shapes how Touchstone welcomes and affirms every client.

Getting Started

Touchstone's administrative offices are located on Snelling Avenue in Minneapolis, with multiple program sites across the Twin Cities and telehealth available for eligible services.

The organization accepts Medicaid and Medicare, private insurance and self pay with financial aid and state or county funding options available for qualifying clients.
