About Total Restoration Ministries Sober Living Program

Total Restoration Ministries is a faith based organization that aims to provide healing to broken people. They have multiple programs that help men and women who are experiencing homelessness and struggling with addiction including separate transitional living programs for men and women in different locations.

This facility at 420 North Reservoir Street in Pomona California is their administrative office and they can connect you to all their services. California State Route 71 and State Route 60 also provide convenient access when driving from Montclair, Claremont and Chino. Foothill Transit provides public bus services with stops nearby on Reservoir Street.

Trauma Focused Women’s Residential Care in Pomona

The RESTOREHER program is a 24 month transitional living initiative that supports homeless women, including those who were formerly incarcerated or are struggling with substance use. What I find especially appealing about this program is that you can live with your children in the facility.

The program also serves single women recovering from domestic abuse and women with children. The facility offers a stable, safe and structured space where these women can heal and acquire independent living skills. This program is grounded in educational and vocational skills training as well as the development of essential life skills that support a sober lifestyle.

You’ll build supportive relationships by connecting with peers during activities and practicing effective communication with other residents. The program helps you build character, personal responsibility and accountability.

Licensed childcare is available to attend to your kids while you receive therapy. They even have a specialized education initiative called School on Wheels. This provides residents’ children in grades K-12 with tutoring and mentoring. As you move forward in your recovery, the case management team will help you transition to permanent housing. They may help with finding a job as well to ensure a lasting recovery.

Men’s Transitional Living Program

The men’s transitional living program provides a structured setting where men facing homelessness and substance use issues can develop independent living skills and self sufficiency.

Similar to the women’s program, it focuses on education and employment. Men in this facility also learn accountability and personal responsibility through a structured program. They also attend therapy to build coping skills and prevent relapse. They participate in community service projects, men’s retreats and conferences. The goal is to prepare men to reenter the community with confidence and be better equipped to handle the everyday challenges of life.

Other initiatives include the Y.E.S (Youth & Young Adult Employment Services) Program. This six week course covers all aspects of professional development. It can help young people build essential skills like resume writing, interviewing and workplace etiquette to prepare for meaningful employment opportunities. There’s also a TREE program which is a hybrid support initiative for parents.

Private Rehab

Private drug rehab provides a comfortable, secure environment that allows you to focus on doing the work to get your life back on track. Benefits include a higher staff-to-client ratio, increased one-on-one time with therapists and healthcare providers, private rooms for clients, and customized forms of therapy.

Residential Setting

Residential drug rehab provides the comforts of home with the therapeutic support needed to successfully recover. Benefits of an inpatient program include increased safety, a higher success rate, and the time and distance given to focus on recovery. Residential drug rehabs are often the preferred method of treatment, as they can be tailored to meet specific needs, offer focused therapeutic care, and provide the necessary tools to sustain recovery.

Addiction Treatment Programs

Adult Program

An adult program in California uses various therapeutic methods to treat a person who is dependent on an addictive substance. Individuals aged 18 and older are eligible for treatment, which focuses on breaking the cycle of addiction and learning how to maintain sober living.
