The Salvation Army Shelter Community Kitchen and Rehabilitation Program in suburban Huntsville, Alabama, is a place of true help. You’ll be invited to partake in work therapy at the Family Store and Lodge, gaining routine and job readiness. The program also provides help with food, clothing, job placement, and even budgeting. These supports aim to prepare you for life beyond the program.

Community Meals and Emergency Shelter

If you need a hot meal, the community kitchen serves food to anyone experiencing hunger. Emergency shelter is also available each evening, with check in starting at 6:30. These services reflect a belief that no one should be left alone when in crisis.
