The Salvation Army has been providing substance use disorder treatment since the 1970s for no fee to participants. Their holistic program includes work therapy, individual counseling, psychoeducation, case management, group therapy, spiritual direction, Christian worship, skill development, work readiness and job support, and ongoing support referrals.
Accredited by the Joint Commission, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), and approved by the California Department of Health, and United Way. Anyone over the age of 18 is eligible to apply to The Salvation Army Adult Addiction Treatment Center and will be asked to attend an interview.
