A Promises Behavioral Health company, The Right Step offers a range of inpatient and outpatient (OP) addiction treatment services in Houston, Texas. You’ll choose from the detox program, inpatient treatment (IP), an intensive outpatient program (IOP), and the aftercare program. All programs include dual diagnosis mental health treatment.
This facility offers a safe and comfortable atmosphere for detox with appropriate medical supervision. This is the first step of addiction treatment and during this phase you may be prescribed medication to ease the pain of withdrawal. These medications will also reduce your drug cravings.
The Right Step offers different inpatient programs for men and women. Inpatient treatment includes daily therapy and 24 hour medical care. You’ll experience several small groups each day where a trained facilitator will guide you through different topics like interpersonal skills and relapse prevention. While living on site you’ll engage in art, fitness, yoga, and meditation.
During the intensive outpatient program you’ll live at home and visit the facility several times per week to receive structured therapy. This program meets at least three times per week. At counseling sessions you’ll define your triggers, improve your coping skills, and gain knowledge on how to change negative thinking patterns.
Rooted is the free alumni program provided to graduates of treatment programs at The Right Step. Rooted includes virtual recovery meetings with alumni from across the country.
