What instantly stood out to me is that they are on 30 acres. The homes have a rustic cabin feel to them. They tried to make it feel like a cozy summer camp experience. This was done so that you can escape your everyday life and focus on your recovery in a serene, peaceful environment.
Your cabin will have bedrooms, bathrooms, a common area and furnishings. Men and women have separate cottages at opposite ends of the property. They have amenities that include a swimming pool, volleyball court and a fitness room. The outdoor facilities are expansive and a home like atmosphere has been created.
You will have a daily schedule with activities. Your schedule can differ from others as all treatment plans will be customized to fit everyone's needs.
Their approach to treatment is evidence based. This approach is used for both substance use and co-occurring disorders. I like that they use the homey cabins throughout the campus to host group therapy and individual sessions.
Specialized recovery programs are also available. They have a drug specific addiction recovery program. Therapy is also available in the form of art, music and recreation.
