About The Phoenix Recovery Center
The Phoenix Recovery Center is located in South Jordan, Utah. The center is accredited by The Joint Commission. They’re also members of the Utah Association of Behavioral Health Organization.
They provide mental health and addiction treatment to adults. Insurance is accepted, including Medicaid and TRICARE. Even if your insurance is out of network, they’ll accept it.
If you have an opioid or alcohol addiction you can start your recovery in the medication assisted treatment program. Medication will be combined with counseling to treat substance abuse and addiction. Methadone, naltrexone and buprenorphine are used to treat opioid addiction. They use Disulfiram, Naltrexone and Acamprosate to treat alcohol addiction.
If you need residential treatment, they have a new state of the art facility. It’s called The Penthouse. The facilities are gender specific and house up to 44 beds. I do like that they have an onsite fitness and recreational center.
What I like about inpatient care is that you are free from any possible negative influences and triggers. You’ll be able to focus on your recovery and overcoming your addiction.
They don’t have a set time for your stay. Your length of stay is dependent on your personal medical and clinical needs.
Their outpatient program consists of day treatment and intensive and general outpatient tracks. The difference is the amount of time you spend a week attending sessions and topics covered.
Day treatment is the most intensive level of care of the three. You’ll attend sessions throughout the weekday but you’ll be able to go home at night.
Their intensive outpatient program will require you to attend sessions four nights out of the week. This program allows you a little more flexibility so that you are able to attend work or school throughout the day.
The least intense of the outpatient programs is their general program. You’ll first attend sessions three nights out of the week. After, you’ll be tapered down to two sessions per week.
