One of The Meadows Outpatient Centers is located in Scottsdale, Arizona. Adult men and women are able to receive outpatient care (OP) for substance use issues.

They do accept insurance. If you do not have insurance, they’ll also accept financing through Care Credit. The staff is also able to review the costs and payment options with you. In hopes to fit your financial situation, they will try to come up with some form of arrangement.

The organization is accredited by both The Joint Commission and the National Association of Behavioral Healthcare. They’re also members of the National Association of Treatment Providers and are LegitScript Certified.

What stood out to me is that they have on site neurofeedback sessions. These sessions will help you improve your health and provide self regulation skills. They also have an onsite psychiatrist, part time. The psychiatrist will do your evaluation and provide follow ups.

They offer a partial hospitalization program (PHP). The program is four weeks long, but can be extended if needed. You attend your sessions five days per week for five to six hour sessions per day.

The program will be tailored to your needs. I like that you will have individual therapy sessions one to two times per week. You’ll also have weekly psychiatry sessions and virtual family recovery sessions. The neurofeedback sessions are just as needed.

I do like that they provide you with the option to receive holistic therapy. With holistic therapy, you are able to have a whole body approach that includes your body, mind and soul. The therapies they offer are trauma sensitive yoga, acupuncture, acupressure, tai chi and expressive arts.

They have additional therapy methods, like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), that focus on negative emotions to change them to positive thoughts and actions. They also use somatic experiencing and neurofeedback to enhance your recovery process. Guests learn the 12 Step principles to help with accountability and provide a supportive community.
