About The Mark

The Mark in Tucson, Arizona offers outpatient substance use treatment for adults and youth. Tricare and other major health insurances are accepted. The center encourages clients to attend community self help groups in addition to treatment.

Separate Programs for Adults and Adolescents

They have intensive outpatient programs here for adults and adolescents separately. We appreciate that this allows every client to feel comfortable among people their own age and it lets the counselors focus on issues and challenges that each age group faces.

In either age group, programs balance group therapy with individual counseling and family counseling too.

Referrals for Other Levels of Care

If it is determined you need detoxification or residential treatment services, the center will refer you to a local facility. You can then transition back to the outpatient care here when that level of care is appropriate for your recovery. This allows you to address the triggers and thought patterns that drive you toward drugs or alcohol and the family therapy helps your family learn how to be a strong support system for your journey.

After treatment completion you will receive six months of free aftercare sessions. We think this is an important way for the treatment center to support your continued recovery.

Mental Health Outpatient Treatment

If you have co occurring mental health disorders, you may need to participate in the mental health intensive outpatient program as well. This program addresses depression, anxiety and mood related issues. In addition to therapy, you may be prescribed medication.
