About The Last Resort Teen Support Group

Located in Modesto, California, Adolescents Last Resort Recovery was an alcohol and drug rehab center for teenagers and adolescents. They’re permanently closed now but they provided gender-specific inpatient and intensive outpatient programs, allowing clients to safely detox under the supervision of medical personnel. Once they graduated from the program, clients could access aftercare support to encourage continued sobriety. Dual diagnosis care was provided for clients with co-occurring addictions and mental illnesses.

Their inpatient program began with detox treatment if required. From there, providers worked with each client to create an individualized treatment plan. They may have received individual or group counseling, as well as complementary, evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, trauma therapy and motivational interviewing. Providers structured treatment based on The Matrix Model, providing clients with a combination of therapy, addiction education and peer-based support.

Outpatient clients requiring a high level of supervision and support could enter the IOP program, where they’d attend counseling sessions, addiction education programs and life skills training.
Their aftercare services included 12 step program facilitation, continued counseling and connections to community resources, including sober living homes.

Adolescents Last Resort Recovery worked with most major insurance providers, including Anthem, Magellan Health, United Healthcare, Ambetter, Cigna, Human and BlueCross BlueShield. They were accredited by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
