About Trillium Place

Trillium Place was formed in 2019 by a merger between three central Illinois organizations: the Human Service Center, Tazwood Center for Wellness and UnityPoint Health Behavioral Health Services. I noticed that Trillium Place has multiple locations throughout Peoria, Tazwell, Logan and Woodford counties, including the Trillium Place on Hamilton in Peoria, Illinois.

The Hamilton clinic provides assessments and outpatient services for mental health, substance use and behavioral addictions, along with DUI evaluations. Trillium Place accepts most private insurance plans, including Medicare Advantage plans.

Assessments and Outpatient Treatment in Peoria

The Hamilton Boulevard clinic facilitates full substance use and mental health assessments, depending on your needs. Outpatient mental health care is available here, including counseling, group therapy and medication management.

For addiction treatment, they can determine the proper level of care. Group therapy is available at this clinic. More intensive treatment services, including residential, intensive outpatient programs (IOPs) and medication assisted treatment (MAT) are available at Trillium Place treatment centers only 10 minutes from the Hamilton location.

Trillium Place also provides DUI assessments at this location. The assessment determines what classes and treatment services you need to complete before your license is reinstated.

Adult Treatment for Behavioral Addictions

I think Trillium Place stands out due to their outpatient behavioral addiction treatment programs. The Hamilton clinic can provide assessments, and the outpatient treatment center nearby can deliver services to help you overcome problematic behaviors like gambling, gaming, shopping or binge eating.

Programs for these behavioral concerns include a partial hospitalization program (PHP), also known as day treatment, IOPs and general outpatient care. Services include individual, group and family counseling, educational groups, leisure activities and recovery support.
