About Human Service Center

Trillium Place on Hamilton is located in Peoria, Illinois. It provides a variety of outpatient services and treatments for adults with substance use disorder. It used to be called the Human Service Center of Peoria.Outpatient care for addiction consists of structured education and group support to help clients maintain their recovery. It’s great that they offer both daytime and evening groups, so clients can fit treatment in around their work and home commitments.

Medication assisted recovery is available for clients who have not yet managed to wean off from substances on their own. In this program, prescription medications that reduce cravings and ease withdrawal symptoms are used in conjunction with addiction counseling. This combination of treatments is more effective than either medication or counseling used alone and it addresses both the physical and psychological impact of addiction.

Additional substance use services at Trillium Place on Hamilton include addiction education and DUI evaluations. Plus, they also carry out assessment services for residential care on clients who may require a more intensive level of addiction treatment.
