About Henry House

The Henry House is a halfway house residential facility for adult men in Anchorage, Alaska. They accept residents who have completed treatment for substance abuse, dual diagnosis, or opioid addiction and who are no longer using. The Henry House provides safe, drug-and-alcohol-free living accommodations with 24-hour surveillance. The home-like atmosphere offers residents access to a community kitchen and an in-house laundry facility. Bedrooms and bathrooms are shared, and residents share responsibility for all household chores.

The Henry House offers group counseling, drug addiction and relapse prevention education, peer-recovery support group programming, and life skills training. Aftercare support is also provided. Referrals are made to 12-Step Self-help groups (AA, NA), Therapeutic communities, and other structured sober living arrangements, if requested. The Henry House accepts private health insurance or self-payment.
