About The Dimock Center Ruth Kelley Ummis House
Located in Roxbury, Massachusetts, The Dimock Center is a Joint Commission accredited behavioral health services provider. Offering medically managed detox, inpatient addiction treatment, outpatient program, counseling, recovery support groups, medication assisted treatment, case management, child and adolescent counseling, emergency shelter, and referrals.
Providing a full continuum of addiction care on their nine acre campus, The Dimock Center has provided detox and recovery services for over 40 years. Their clinicians have the expertise to safely detox clients with their medication assisted withdrawal protocols. They also provide inpatient acute treatment and longer term residential care.
Named after the former director of the Dimock Center, The Ruth Kelley Ummi’s House provides housing and intensive care management for women and children. The facility supports previously incarcerated or justice involved women who have multiple health concerns, including co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. The drug rehab program also welcomes women who are pregnant, and/or are in a medication assisted treatment program. Women and their children can stay at The Ruth Kelley Ummi’s House for six to 24 months, during which they receive trauma therapy, case management, resources referral and care coordination, peer support, relapse prevention, education, and employment assistance. Program participants are also given six months of support following their graduation and ongoing recovery support groups.
Accredited by the Joint Commission, receiving their gold seal of approval for high quality addiction treatment, and recognized by the Health Resources and Services Administration for Health Center Quality Leadership. The Dimock Center accepts Medicaid, Medicare, self pay, sliding scale, and commercial insurance plans.
