About Texas Health Neighborhood Care & Wellness Burleson
Texas Health Burleson’s main hospital is the Burleson branch of Texas Health Harris Methodist network. While they don’t have dedicated substance abuse and mental health treatment services, they do operate an emergency room that can help you out in a drug use or psychiatric crisis. They serve people of all ages in the Burleson, Crowley, and Joshua areas in Texas.
What I think is great about Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth’s network is that it’s the state's biggest medical network. They’ve a staggering number of specialties across all of these locations, but if they’re unable to help you, they can still make referrals to other providers.
It’s also neat that the hospital has lots of amenities, from Spanish fluent staff and free Wi-Fi and parking to a donut and smoothie cafe onsite. These little touches can reduce stress that you might not have even realized and make recovery more comfy.
Crisis Support
An emergency department like the one at this location can be a saving grace during a SUD or mental health crisis. I saw that the staff provides safety and stabilization, and they help you through whatever it is you're experiencing. They can also play a role in coordinating future care and connecting you with a dedicated treatment program.
Physical Therapy
Of course, substance misuse can lead to physical health issues that need their own attention. If this applies to you, this center’s physical therapy could help. I appreciate that they offer a home development program for these services, too.
