About Terros Health – Olive Health Center -Primary Care

Olive Health Center in Glendale, Arizona, gives clients access to primary medical care, counseling, substance use treatment and care coordination. They have a multidisciplinary team that can help you with a range of medical issues. They accept most major insurance plans and Medicaid and Medicare also.

This location offers intensive (IOP) and supportive addiction outpatient (OP) programs including medication assisted treatment (MAT) and dual diagnosis care. If you need inpatient care, you can enroll here, and they’ll transport you over to their residential facility.

First of all, you’ll need an evaluation so that clinicians can make a plan for how to best treat you. Olive Health Center will teach you how to stay sober through the use of group therapy.

Most people begin with the intensive outpatient program. This group meets 3 times a week for 3 hours. In a group with 7-11 other people, you’ll be introduced to life skills, the 12 Step program, and different kinds of therapy methods. You’ll also get an hour-long private session with your therapist. Most people spend about 12 weeks in this program.

The supportive outpatient program is often a step down program. It’s also a good fit for clients who’ve had a relapse. This group meets twice a week for 12 weeks. During this time, you’ll focus on getting back to regular life.

The MAT program gives clients access to prescription medications that help you with cravings and withdrawal symptoms. They can prescribe various medications including Suboxone, Vivitrol, and Subutex.

Olive Health Center also works with people who have been court ordered to attend treatment.
