About Adult and Teen Challenge Knoxville Womens Center
Saving Grace’s Knoxville Women’s Center is an addiction and mental health treatment center that focuses on providing safe and reliable housing for older adolescents and adult women around Knoxville, Tennessee.
This program requires a $1,000 deposit and application fee for applying to the program. This money will not be returned to the participant even if they decide to leave the program immediately after the application process.
Clients who cannot afford this fee can apply for a scholarship with the facility’s intake director.
Knoxville’s Faith Based Female Residential Treatment Center
This facility’s residential treatment program is reserved for women only. Women should be 18 years old, or very close to turning 18, when they apply. Most clients opt to stay at the residential program for a year.
The program seeks to help women recover from addictions, the symptoms of mental health conditions, and trauma through the power of Jesus Christ and Christian faith based solutions. The goal is to apply biblical principles to each client’s life and watch the fruits of their labor appear.
One important factor to consider is that no smoking or vaping is permitted around the center. Due to the facility’s faith based teachings, clients are also expected to do their best to abstain from using foul language, glorifying sexual immorality or drug use, or committing sexual misconduct.
One thing I find interesting about the program is that it is very controlled, so it is a great option for individuals who need intense monitoring to fully recover.
Saving Women Around the Country Since 2015
Saving Grace Women’s Home, Inc. has multiple locations scattered throughout the country. The company was founded in 2015 in Texas. In 2022, the Knoxville location was opened to help facilitate recovery in Tennessee.
One thing I like about this program is that the facility believes everyone can be saved through Jesus, and they do not discriminate or judge anyone who is struggling.
