The Suncoast Center provides outpatient mental health and substance use services in St. Petersburg, Florida for children, adults and families. This CARF accredited center has been operating since 1944. They use a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model to deliver trauma informed and recovery oriented care across nine primary offices. This particular location on Central Avenue is one of their outpatient clinics. They accept Medicaid, Medicare and offer sliding scale fees for income based costs. I appreciate that they receive SAMHSA CCBHC grants as well which can help to make treatment more affordable.

If you have criminal charges related to substance use and need court mandated services, they have a forensic focused outreach program. The program offers jail diversion and transition support while integrating mental health and substance use care.

They also have sexual assault services with a team that provides a 24 hour hotline, crisis counseling, court advocacy and support groups for survivors. This program aims to reduce trauma through compassionate care.

This organization has suicide prevention services as well, part of the Zero Suicide Partners of Pinellas. Screenings and evidence based interventions will be provided to support individuals who are at risk.
