About Summit Stone Health Partners

SummitStone Health Partners is a nonprofit substance use treatment provider and behavioral health organization. They have a clinic in Larimer County. It’s based in Loveland, Colorado.

They offer a full continuum of care including outpatient treatment, withdrawal management, short-term residential, acute care at their Longview Campus, plus crisis and urgent care services. I saw that many clients appreciate their peer support approach, equitability and the chance to access care quickly via same-day or next-day intake.

What’s Available at Loveland?

SummitStone provides crisis and urgent care, including a 24/7 crisis line, mobile response teams and a behavioral health urgent care walk-in facility. Detox, residential care, observation and full assessments are done at their Longview acute care facility, as well as outpatient services for addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders.

They use evidence-based therapies, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, plus medication-assisted treatments (MAT), peer support, harm reduction and telehealth.

Who Gets Help?

They serve all ages—children, teens, adults, families—offering gender-inclusive services, as well as special programs for young adults and youth. They support individuals with co-occurring mental health conditions, pregnant or postpartum women, those referred via courts, and folks with histories of trauma. I like that young people in the Ascent program (ages 15-29 experiencing first-episode psychosis) are also assisted.

SummitStone also treats mental health issues like depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD/trauma, borderline personality disorder, schizophrenia and OCD.

How to Get Started at Loveland

They accept private health insurance and Medicaid and provide self-pay or cash payment options. Sliding fee scales and payment assistance are offered for those who qualify, helping make treatment more affordable for people with limited financial resources.

Intake appointments can be set up same-day or next-day (in person or via telehealth) Monday through Thursday between 9 am and 4 pm. Clients with urgent needs can use their walk-in urgent care or mobile crisis response. Evals at the Longview acute care facility involves full assessment, withdrawal management and residential admission when needed.
