About STEPS

Located in the lovely Cocoa, Florida, STEPS is an addiction treatment center that works to help adults with substance misuse issues and mental health concerns. I was thoroughly impressed with the amount of treatment options they offer, including residential treatment for women, adult outpatient care, adult intensive outpatient care, and day treatment. They offer individual, family, couples, and group therapy sessions. They even have specialized groups offered to women and women with children.

They offer motivational interviewing and family intervention if necessary. Their day treatment offers network therapy in addition to the services I mentioned above. I like that their women's residential program helps those with co-occurring conditions too. They can even help those with opioid use disorders.

REAP What You Sow

They’ve something called the REAP program which provides case management to individuals in the community who need resources for their everyday life. This includes medical attention, dental, vision, housing, food, clothing, employment, and education. These services are provided 24 hours a day to give you immediate assistance.

They also have an inmate treatment program that works with Orange County Jail. On top of all this, they offer medication assisted treatment (MAT) to help you detox safely.
