Stairways Behavioral Health Erie Outpatient Mental Health Clinic is located in Erie, Pennsylvania. This facility provides comprehensive care to men and women who are struggling with a drug, alcohol or substance use disorder. Care is offered in an outpatient treatment setting. There's also a partial hospitalization program (PHP) and an intensive outpatient program (IOP) as well. They accept policies for most major insurance providers.
You'll work with a multidisciplinary team of professionals here. The clinical team includes a nursing team, master’s level counselors and certified addiction counselors among other health professionals.
After an initial assessment and evaluation, an individualized treatment plan will be created for you. You'll be supported by both group and individual counseling sessions here. Evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) will be applied in these counseling sessions.
Through this approach, you'll learn how to identify triggers and manage negative emotions that have contributed to your substance use struggles. As you move through counseling, you'll be supported by certified recovery specialists and certified family recovery specialists. You'll be empowered to take control of your recovery and learn skills that will help minimize your risk of relapse.
Depending on your circumstances, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) may be appropriate for your recovery. Here, you'll have access to FDA-approved medications including Vivitrol and naltrexone. This therapy is provided alongside addiction education to help strengthen your chances for a sober lifestyle.
