As one of three Spectrum Health Systems based in Worcester, Massachusetts, the Oak Street site is an accredited drug rehab specializing in inpatient addiction treatment. Support is available to adults aged 18+ regardless of gender, race, or background.

The facility’s detox program offers 24/7 medical supervision and nursing for patients going through detox in the initial stages of their recovery journey. Utmost care is taken to make clients as comfortable as possible and ensure safe withdrawal from opioids, alcohol, and other addictive substances. Medication assisted detox is provided to help clients manage nasty withdrawal symptoms and cravings. Meanwhile, Spectrum’s team of specialists will help clients prepare for the next stages of their recovery journey by planning continued treatment and aftercare where necessary.

Next steps in treatment may involve the facility’s clinical stabilization services. These short-term residential programs act as a stepping stone between detox and aftercare. They typically involve comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, individual and group counseling, health education services, aftercare planning and client follow-up.

Separate residential programs are also available. In these, residents take part in a structured weekly schedule consisting of individual, group, and family counseling, recovery groups, relapse prevention training, and recreational activities. Aftercare planning is offered to all clients to set them up for a sustainable, long-term recovery post-inpatient. Your length of stay at Spectrum’s residential programs will vary depending on your individual needs.
