About Specialized Treatment Services

Specialized Treatment Services is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They are an outpatient treatment facility for adults struggling with chemical dependency. Medication assisted treatment is available.

You will be required to meet with a counselor for individual sessions. During these sessions, you will develop your customized treatment plan. For the first 10 weeks, you will meet with your counselor once per week for one hour. After the first initial stage, then you will be required to meet with your counselor once per month. Of course, if needed, you can meet more than once a month.

They provide daily education groups that meet in the mornings, five times per week. The sessions usually last about one hour.

The counselors can conduct a chemical health assessment. With this assessment, they can provide a summary that is accepted by the probation and court systems. If you are required to complete a chemical health education program, they provide an eight to 16 hour curriculum.
