About Stsars

South Texas Substance Abuse Recovery Services is a nonprofit drug and alcohol addiction and co-occurring disorder treatment clinic. Their main HQ is by Upper Broadway Park in Corpus Christi, Texas. They are a CARF accredited facility with multiple offices in Corpus Christi to help deliver care to as many people in need as possible. One thing I love about this facility is that its services have no costs for clients who lack insurance.

They have several specialty programs, too, including gender specific treatment for women, specialized care for clients with or at high risk of HIV or hepatitis, and medication assisted treatment (MAT).

Reintegration Support

Project Tratamiento is a program offered to those exiting the justice system and living with substance use disorder and/or a co-occurring disorder. This project provides outpatient treatment and transitional support as clients return to their communities.

Additional help is proffered through case management, rounding out a broad foundation for sobriety and law abiding behavior.

Texas Targeted Opioid Response — Recovery Support Services

TTOR RSS is a unique program designed to complement opioid use disorder treatment. It’s focused on strengthening recovery through skill development and connections with community resources that boost your independence. What I like about this is that it gives more focus to these important areas that you might not get to experience during treatment sessions to the extent you want.
