About Aspire Health Alliance
Aspire Health Alliance (formerly South Shore Mental Health) has an office in Braintree, Massachusetts. It’s a secluded center and is dedicated to mental health and addiction recovery services. Their integrated approach to outpatient healthcare is available to people of all ages and backgrounds.
What I admire most about Aspire Health Alliance is its dedication to bringing services to the individual outside the clinic. The Braintree location includes school based and community outreach services, so clients can get care in the settings they prefer.
Anyone seeking medication assisted treatment (MAT) for substance use disorder will find it here.
Services to Help with (or Prevent) Hospitalization
Aspire Health Alliance's Discovery Day Treatment program is uniquely designed for two purposes: to ease you into a lower level of care following hospitalization or to avoid an inpatient stay entirely. It's built around intensive outpatient services in a group setting.
Something I think that's overlooked in a program like this is its value in prompting socialization. It may seem uncomfortable to recover in a group at first, but if you take that step you may come to find that you aren't as alone on the journey as you think. It also gives you the chance to make meaningful relationships with others in recovery.
Much Needed Care Inside and Outside Appointments
The recovery process isn't always as smooth as we hope. For all of the progress we make in treatment, there's always a chance that some unexpected conflict can invite instability into our lives and risk undermining the changes we've made.
Crisis care with 24/7 availability like those offered by Aspire Health Alliance can be crucial to overcoming these obstacles. When you face a crisis, you won't be alone. They can come to you in your home or elsewhere in the community. They're also available in local hospital emergency rooms. Crisis teams work hard to assess and stabilize you fast and co develop a plan to get you back on the right path, including referrals to other services.
A Space to Connect with Your Peers
The Peer to Peer program complements professional treatment by bringing together people with the shared experience of addiction and recovery. It's a place where you can come to get advice from others or lend a hand yourself. It's also a great place to simply meet new people and socialize. Peer support is one of the pillars of relapse prevention, and the friends you make can play a long term role in your sobriety.
Aspire Health Alliance accepts many private insurance plans. You can also use Medicaid and Medicare plans to cover service costs.
