About Southeast Alcohol and Drug Abuse Center (SEADAC)

South East Alcohol and Drug Abuse Center (SEADAC) is located on South Chicago Avenue in Chicago, Illinois, in an industrial section on the south side of Chicago near the I-90 skyway. They offer you treatment for mental health issues as well as substance use disorders through their behavioral health team at Aunt Martha’s Health and Wellness.

Integrating Behavioral Health Care with a PCP

I think one of the most unique aspects of this facility is that their behavioral health team is integrated with their primary care services. This provides you with a comprehensive full health and wellness assessment of your conditions and your needs for recovery, and it allows your addiction treatment team to coordinate seamlessly with your primary care doctor so they can address your medical care and recovery together.

Coordinated Referrals to Community Resources

SEADAC is also there for you to connect you with community resources that can benefit your recovery, like employment programs and support groups. They understand the challenges you experience when facing addiction and provide comprehensive services to get you back in the workforce and into strengthening your relationships through therapy to help you continue on your path to recovery.

A Personal Care Coordinator to Assist You Every Step of The Way

A coordinator will work with you to track your progress and to make additional arrangements for services. They are also there for you to answer questions and to make sure you are meeting and exceeding your goals.

They will also assist you in obtaining the right medications and supplies that you may need to help with your recovery.
