South Beach Addiction Treatment Center specializes in the short term treatment of addiction for residents of Richmond County, or those who are houseless. Situated at a 30 bed facility, their multidisciplinary team includes board certified physicians, psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and addiction counselors, and have extensive expertise in addiction treatment. Using a patient centered and evidence based treatment model, SBATC conducts comprehensive mental health assessments, providing individualized treatment planning that addresses the strengths, needs, and problems of each patient. Following admission, patients receive an individual counselor and treatment team. Program activities include individual and group counseling, special issue groups, self help meetings, activity therapy, experiential and education groups, lectures, family therapy, and aftercare planning.

All third party commercial insurance and Medicaid is accepted. Fees are based on an individual's ability to pay, and no one will be denied services due to an inability to pay.
