About Solvista Health Cañon City East Campus

Solvista Health Cañon City East Campus is a CARF accredited treatment center located in Cañon City, Colorado. They specialize in treating adolescents, children, adults and veterans who are struggling with mental health and substance abuse disorders. They provide therapy, primary care, medication assisted treatment (MAT) and recovery support services. They accept Medicare, Medicaid and TRICARE. For individuals who are underinsured or uninsured they offer sliding scale fees and financial assistance.

The MAT program helps individuals who are struggling with withdrawals and cravings from chemical dependency. The medication they provide can help ease these symptoms and can improve brain function. While receiving medication maintenance, behavioral or psychotherapy can help you achieve a life of abstinence from substance abuse. A provider will follow-up with you and do urinalysis and drug screenings.

Their recovery support managers assist in combating barriers that prevent you from getting the care you need. They can connect you to local inpatient treatment and help with funding. They will provide support and help develop recovery plans so you can become more active in your recovery.

Individual and group therapy will be part of your outpatient treatment plan and will be a weekly commitment. During the sessions you’ll engage in holistic therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy and EMDR to develop tools you can use when challenges arise. Coping skills, anger management, relapse prevention and addiction education are some of the many topics that will be discussed. Group therapy provides extra support and accountability amongst you and your peers who are on the same path as you. Engaging with others can help you develop more self awareness and gain other perspectives from like minded individuals who assure you that you aren’t alone.

They offer harm reduction courses like free Narcan training. The training will help you gain knowledge on how to administer Narcan during an overdose emergency. Upon completion of training a Narcan kit will be provided. This training is available to everyone.
