About Solstice Counseling and Wellness Centers
Solstice Counseling and Wellness Centers helps people who are struggling with addiction, anxiety, and other mental health problems in the Pemberton, New Jersey, area. They create a plan that fits each person and their unique needs no matter where you are on your journey. They also address co-occurring issues (dual diagnosis).
One thing I noticed is that Solstice makes sure people can get help while still living their daily lives. Their intensive outpatient program (IOP) lets people go to work, be with family, and still get treatment. It includes counseling, health and wellness support, medication management and group sessions for about 9 to 12 hours a week. Their outpatient program is a little less intense but still gives people the support they need to make real changes through counseling and self help groups.
Dual Diagnosis and Specialized Treatment
Solstice helps people who have both addiction and mental health struggles. Their co-occurring mental health services include therapy, medication help and tools to manage stress, anxiety and trauma.
If you happen to have trouble controlling your temper, they offer anger management programs. They teach people how to handle frustration in a better way, and they also have group therapy so people can learn from each other.
They also offer medication assisted treatment using FDA approved medicine to help with cravings and withdrawal. When combined with therapy, this helps people stay on track and avoid relapse.
Family Support
Their commitment to helping families impresses me too. They know addiction affects not just the person struggling but also their loved ones. Their family services offer support, education and advice to help families heal and grow together.
