About Shurruns House Sober Living Transitional Home

Shurruns House is a Level II faith-based transitional house in Dallas, Texas. Here, you get to live in a safe, residential neighborhood as you work on your addiction recovery. Shurruns House invites you to be an active participant in your recovery. You’ll attend mandatory meetings and classes, find a fulltime job and join in peer activities that will help you with your personal growth. They can refer you to outside services for any clinical services you may need.

Shurruns House provides comfortable shared rooms, wifi and computer access, onsite laundry, and security cameras. Unlike some transitional homes, Shurruns provides personal hygiene products, linens and bedding. They also provide food thanks to their partnership with Crossroads Food.

Their program blends the 12 Step philosophy with a faith-based approach to recovery. They have counselors and volunteers who offer life skills, parenting and self-love classes as well as resume and job interview training. They run weekly Bible study classes. An on-site registered medical assistant is there to make sure your health needs are taken care of.
