The facility was convenient to US Route 70 and about 50 miles from Eisenhower’s birthplace, a state historic site. One of the nice things about the facility was the private setting that offered lakeside views.
I think many clients appreciated that the site had access to hiking trails where you could walk and reflect in a serene, natural environment while in treatment. There was also a meditation room on site.
The programs offered comprehensive residential treatment that ranged from 30-90 days and included detoxification. Clients included children, adolescents, and adult men and women. The team helped families and friends with interventions to encourage their loved ones with addiction to seek treatment.
