Serenity Haven is a sober living program from True Directions that provides low intensity substance abuse and co-occurring mental health treatment for women in Mora, Minnesota. Here, guests have access to quiet, small town living where they are encouraged to work on their strengths for a sober lifestyle.
Women have a structured living environment with 24 hour supervision conducive to sobriety. The 10 bed facility keeps the setting intimate with people you can connect and engage with who share the same goal of recovery.
Serenity Haven doesn’t only focus on your addiction but the staff helps you work on self-esteem and employment to become more independent and productive. They have parenting and spirituality programs where guests can learn techniques and skills to help with raising children and communicating.
The program involves 12 step treatment principles which focus on accountability and responsibility while keeping guests connected and engaged in treatment. The home like feel creates a serene setting where you can relax and focus on your recovery. Their goal is to offer safety and stability so women can heal without distractions.
They have licensed alcohol and drug counselors on staff who can help guide you through the program and get the most benefits from recovery.
There are also programs to help with financial management and housing so you can become more independent and live a productive life without drugs or alcohol. There are community programs that address mental health issues so you can overcome the root causes of your addiction and live a sober lifestyle.
