About Serenity Education and Therapy
Serenity Education and Therapy offers educational experiences for people who have DWI/DUI arrests. They serve clients in Lakewood, Colorado, and offer Levels 1 and 2 education and Level 2 therapy tracks ABC and D. Serenity is licensed by the state of Colorado and can begin working with you even before sentencing.
Courses are available via Zoom and can be accessed from any device including smartphones. I like that they have lots of class options so that you can for sure find a time that works for your schedule.
Level one education will give you 12 hours over at least 3 days and is most appropriate for someone with a low BAC. Level 2 education is 24 hours of education over 12 weeks. Class size is capped at 12 students. Sometimes you're required to also attend level to therapy for an additional 5 to 10 months. For treatment options, the state of Colorado offers four levels that range between 42 to 86 hours of treatment. A trained evaluator in the probation department will make recommendations for the track you need.
Amenities
In order to maintain a sense of autonomy, many private rehab facilities offer clients the ability to choose their own private rooms. The privacy and personal space ensure that the recovery process is as comfortable as possible.
Addiction treatment in the metro area benefits clients by offering seamless connections from the city, around the state, and those seeking out-of-state treatment. Another benefit of attending a metro area drug rehab is that you’re close to major airports and ground transportation services.
Business centers are a preferred amenity in many mental health and addiction recovery facilities and typically feature secure, high-speed internet, computer stations, printers, and related business technologies. Business centers are designed to enable professionals and students to continue to participate in work or school activities without leaving the treatment facility.
Addiction Treatment Programs
Each young adult program in Colorado is unique, but most offer evidence-based treatment methods while focusing on the young-adult stage of life. Common methods include cognitive behavioral therapy, group and individual therapy, family therapy, relapse prevention, and dual diagnosis therapy.
Each adult program in Colorado centers around helping individuals obtain and maintain sobriety. These programs are designed for men and women 18 and older who struggle with addiction. Common treatment methods include one-on-one and group therapy.

Alcohol rehab in Colorado provides a crucial support system that sees you through challenges and helps you come out victorious on the other side. Treatment helps individuals come to terms with alcohol abuse issues and learn how to overcome them.
Professional services are often necessary to recover from addiction. Drug rehab in Colorado provides the expert services needed to address the complex issues of addiction and help individuals start their recovery journey.
Elderly rehab in Colorado focuses on the challenges seniors face that often accompany substance abuse. Senior addiction treatment helps aging adults cope with illness, chronic pain, death of loved ones, and decrease in physical ability.
Levels of Care
During outpatient rehab in Colorado, you will attend counseling sessions but live at home while you receive treatment. You will be required to attend groups such as AA or NA to receive additional support. The length of time in outpatient rehab varies by individual, based on their recovery journey.
A Colorado aftercare rehab program provides continued support such as counseling, career guidance, and budgeting assistance. The goal is to give you the support you need to prevent relapse. Some people remain in aftercare for a few weeks or months, while others continue for a year or more.
Many people who struggle with a substance abuse disorder also have a mental health disorder. In these situations, Colorado dual diagnosis treatment is essential, for treating both disorders simultaneously.
As a type of outpatient treatment, partial hospitalization programs (PHPs) in Colorado offer many of the same treatment methods found in inpatient rehabs. However, in a PHP setting, you only stay at the facility during treatment times. That means you can return home after completing required therapies and counseling.
