About SCADD

SCADD: Proven Pathways to Recovery is located in Norwich, Connecticut. This is a drug and rehab treatment facility that serves men and women with residential treatment. You’ll also have access to intensive outpatient care (IOP) if you need more robust, yet flexible, treatment. Other services include detox and medication assisted therapy (MAT).

They accept policies from most major insurance providers. You can also get connected to financial resources that can help make care affordable.

Their approach to care is rooted in evidence based therapies and designed to help you succeed. Their residential treatment program often starts with detox if your circumstances require it. Acute detox happens here under the supervision of trained medical professionals. Medical monitoring is available, and medication assisted treatment may be an appropriate approach once you exit detox.

The residential treatment program will expose you to a range of supports that’ll help you build the skills you need. For example, in individual and group therapy, you'll learn different coping skills and strategies. You’ll also learn how to manage stressful emotions and triggers. You’ll also find integrated treatment with both substance use recovery therapies and support for mental health struggles.

Other services include work therapy and educational services. You'll bolster your chances of sustainable sobriety and success after treatment. I also appreciate that you can get primary care onsite as well as hepatitis C treatment.

I appreciate that there are other recovery services you can turn to. For example, there is a Fatherhood Initiative Program that supports dads who’re moving through the recovery process. Through case management, recovery coaching, and recovery housing, you'll get connected to the resources you need that will help you maintain the momentum you've gained during your treatment program. You can lay the groundwork for sustainable sobriety.
