Following your assessment, you’re going to meet with a member of the medical staff team. They will help determine whether methadone or a different medication should be included along with your treatment plan. The four medications to choose from are methadone, Suboxone, naltrexone, and buprenorphine.

Along with medication assisted treatment, you’ll be attending counseling services. In individual counseling, you’ll reflect on how addiction has impacted your life. You’ll also learn to make changes that are healthy to support your recovery. In group counseling, you’ll develop relapse prevention strategies and practice health communication skills.
