Founded in San Marcos, Texas in 1940, what began as a series of rest homes for impaired patients, eventually merged in 1974 to become the San Marcos Treatment Center. Nowadays, the center specializes in mental and behavioral healthcare for young people. They accept most major insurance plans, including TRICARE®.

24-hour Psychiatric Care for Kids and Teens in Hays County

Here, boys and girls aged six to 17 with IQs of 50 and up can access 24-hour psychiatric care, with a personalized therapeutic approach. These intensive behavioral programs teach participants to manage their emotions better for improved social functioning.

This option is ideal for individuals with a variety of mental and behavioral health issues, developmental disorders, disabilities, and more. You or loved one can also be treated here for comorbid substance abuse issues, with targeted addiction treatment also provided.
