The Lighthouse Community San Diego is a residential reentry and aftercare community for parolees situated in San Diego, California. They aid adult men and women who’ve been released on or parole to overcome addictive behaviors and reintegrate into the community.

Clients participate in programs tailored to their recovery, which may include cognitive behavioral interventions, relapse prevention, individual and group counseling, and life skills classes. While staying at The Lighthouse, clients may be referred to other organizations for treatment for substance use disorder (SUD), vocational training, literacy and education, housing assistance, medical and dental care, employers who are felony-friendly, and additional counseling.

The Lighthouse accepts Medi-Cal. Other drug rehab treatments to which clients are referred may be covered in full or in part by their medical insurer, such as major providers including Kaiser Permanente, ComPsych, Wellmark, HCSC, Cigna, Ambetter, Aetna, and United Healthcare.
