About Samaritan Village
Meadow Run, part of the Samaritan Daytop Village network, is a residential treatment facility for up to 56 men struggling with substance use disorder, with or without a co-occurring mental health disorder like depression. It’s located within acres of lush green space, far from the distractions of city living, so you can really concentrate on your recovery.
Holistic Treatment for Substance Use Disorder
The residential program at Meadow Run offers a whole person approach to treatment that addresses the social, behavioral, psychological, and physical impacts addiction has on a person’s life.
I love how the program sets clients up with an excellent foundation for long term recovery with a range of evidence-based interventions, including addiction management medications, individual counseling using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) approaches, group counseling, addiction education, and functional and vocational skills development.
One of my favorite things about the residential program is its reintegration services, which is a really important aspect of the recovery journey. They help resolve barriers to community integration with vocational and employment readiness training, job search support, housing assistance, and connecting clients with community organizations.
They also help clients reconnect and repair family relationships and, through collaboration with the family court, support family reunification with children.
