About Samaritan Regional Mental Health
Samaritan Regional Mental Health is a behavioral health treatment facility in Corvallis, Oregon offering a continuum of psychiatric and mental health services for adults on the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center campus.
The program includes a 16 bed inpatient psychiatric unit, a partial hospitalization program and outpatient psychiatry services to support individuals facing mental health challenges. As part of the nonprofit Samaritan Health Services system, I think it's valuable that the facility provides evidence based, hospital affiliated care with close coordination between providers and community resources.
Mental Health Programs
Adults can receive stabilization and intensive support in the inpatient psychiatric program, a hospital based service that has been serving the community since 1992. I think it's important to note that for those stepping down or seeking structured daily treatment can transition to the partial hospitalization program, a weekday group based psychotherapy day program designed for adults who have stable housing and reliable transportation.
Clients participate in individual and group therapy, occupational and recreational therapy, and specialized interventions such as music and art therapy offered through grants.
For adults with treatment resistant major depression, NeuroStar TMS therapy is available through the outpatient psychiatry clinic, offering non medication options alongside traditional psychiatric care.
