About Sage Recovery & Wellness Center: Alcohol & Drug Rehab Austin Texas

Sage Recovery Wellness Center is accredited by The Joint Commission and is a luxury rehab located on 24 acres in Austin, Texas. They provide treatment to teenagers and adults who are struggling with dual diagnosis and substance abuse disorders. The level of care available here are medical detox, residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP). They offer executive counseling, family involvement programs, alumni support, and a variety of amenities like a meditation garden, library, reading lounge, in-house spa services, swimming pool and a jacuzzi!

During residential treatment what sticks out to me the most is the focus on the clinical care for treatment but also the recreational fun they offer. Being away from your loved ones and old lifestyle can help you stay motivated and comfortable in a calm, relaxing atmosphere to help you focus on your recovery.

The meditation garden can give you a chance to meditate, and seek calmness that can help you get into the habit of meditating. Meditating can reduce anxiety, depression, strengthen memory, and help with hypertension. Swimming in their pool and being able to get into the jacuzzi can help with pain relief, manage stress, and help with migraines.

In the beginning or your healing journey, experiencing so many emotions can be overwhelming but also relatable and understandable. Working with your therapist and having a personalized treatment plan with a weekly routine can help you create more structure in your day to day life.

Individual counseling will give you a chance to discuss personal matters that you may be processing or certain challenges you are facing that have been resurfacing. This lets you have a chance to discuss it, be introduced to coping skills, and build resilience to find resolutions in conflicts and manage stress.

Their alumni support program will help you stay engaged with peers you were in treatment with, staff, and others who completed treatment here and are in recovery. This helps you stay connected, create community, and strengthen your support network. They have a weekly alumni meeting where you can fellowship and interact with others.
