About Safe Refuge

Safe Refuge is a treatment center in Long Beach, California. They provide a full continuum of care and other support services for adults battling homelessness, addiction and mental health issues. You’ll benefit from a wide variety of services to meet your needs.

Targeted Care for Special Populations

A great thing I noticed was their tailored approach. They strive to break treatment barriers by providing specialized support for members of disadvantaged communities. Their programs are government funded and affordable.

They welcome people experiencing homelessness or low income and individuals living with HIV/AIDS. The organization also provides support for veterans, mothers and pregnant women, men with children, victims of domestic violence and adults on parole.

Additional Services for Success

Along with substance abuse treatment, you can access various additional services to support your journey. They offer supportive housing, peer support and recreational activities. I like that they also provide career development services.

Through all of the services provided, the goal is to prepare you to be able to live an independent sober lifestyle.
