About Residential Treatment Services of Alamance, Inc.

Residential Treatment Services of Alamance (RTSA) is a non-profit substance abuse and mental health center for men and women 18 and older in Burlington, North Carolina. They offer priority admission for residents of Alamance and Caswell Counties. The facility includes detox and residential care.

They provide non-hospital detox services in their Hall Avenue area. This program offers an alternative to hospitalization treatment. During your stay, you’ll have short-term intensive assessment, intervention and behavior management services to provide stabilization. They provide 24 hour care to ensure your safety and comfort. Hall Avenue also serves as a halfway home for men while they receive education and services regarding drug and alcohol addiction, preparing them for life after treatment.

The residential treatment offers a secure environment where guests can focus on recovery without outside distractions. They target addiction and mental conditions to provide the resources necessary for a strong recovery foundation.

If you need continuing care then they may provide referrals to one of their group homes. They offer one home for women and one for men who have a mental health condition that requires specialized services. Residents work in the community and have a sense of purpose while living in a safe, secure setting with others.

They also offer a facility for women continuing treatment for drug or alcohol addiction. The goal is to help them become independent members of society while working on their sobriety.

RTSA is a Cross Area Service Provider (CASP). Financial assistance may be available for those unable to pay for treatment.
