About Riverside County Department of Mental Health

Located in Perris, California, the Riverside County Department of Mental Health Urgent Care Center is an emergency center for substance use disorder and other urgent mental health needs. As part of the Riverside University Health System Behavioral Health department, this unique facility is also known as MHUC Perris and it serves clients of all ages and genders.

They’re open 24/7 to serve clients in crisis. It offers emergency assessments to determine client needs and can connect clients with ongoing treatment services as needed, such as drug rehab centers and other addiction recovery programs. Based on client needs, this center offers crisis counseling, peer support, care planning, and medication management within a trauma-informed care model.
