About Riverbend Community Mental
Riverbend Community Mental Health is a nonprofit addiction treatment and behavioral health center in Franklin, New Hampshire serving children, adolescents, adults and families since 1963. The Franklin office offers outpatient rehab and intensive outpatient programs for individuals aged 14 and older, with specialized support for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. I like how Riverbend emphasizes evidence based, person focused care delivered not only in their offices but also in homes and schools throughout central New Hampshire.
Addiction Treatment Programs
Treatment begins with an assessment to determine the right level of care, whether outpatient counseling or a more structured intensive outpatient program.
The intensive outpatient program is available for both adolescents and adults providing a structured schedule of group therapy, individual counseling and family involvement while clients continue living at home and attending school or work.
The Franklin team uses cognitive behavioral therapy and medication assisted treatment for adults as well as drug and alcohol testing to support accountability and long term recovery. Clients with co-occurring mental health conditions receive integrated dual diagnosis care, and I appreciate that family therapy is also available to rebuild trust and strengthen support systems at home.
