About River Oaks Treatment Center

In Riverview, Florida you’ll find a spacious mental health and addiction recovery campus called River Oaks Treatment Center. They offer support through inpatient (IP), intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospital programs (PHP) care. There’s also telehealth support and medical detox. If you have a dual diagnosis, River Oaks can treat you.

They accept commercial health insurance plans and will help you find a payment plan that works.

Their facility includes many indoor and outdoor amenities like a basketball court, running track, gym and much more. You'll fuel your body with chef prepared balanced meals and sleep in well appointed, comfortable rooms.

Medical detox is often the first step to beginning your recovery. You'll get 24/7 supervision as you go through withdrawal from alcohol or drugs. You'll be monitored carefully during the 5-7 days it takes to get physically sober.

Once you complete detox, you can have residential treatment and sleep in a hotel-like bedroom every night. During the day, you’ll have classes and therapy sessions to work towards your recovery.

River Oaks offers two types of outpatient programs. A partial hospitalization program is a lot like residential treatment except you get to live at home. The intensive outpatient program requires less time a week that you need to dedicate to treatment. You'll attend 3-hour sessions three times a week. Many people are able to work or go to school while enrolled in an intensive outpatient track. You'll take part in psychotherapy groups as well as 12 Step meetings on site.

When you graduate from your treatment program, they have several outpatient support for you. This includes an alumni app that you can download to your smartphone as well as a thriving alumni community. If you need it, sober housing is available for graduates.

River Oaks is so confident in their program that they offer a guarantee. If you relapse, you can return for 30 days of treatment at no cost. This facility holds a gold seal of approval from The Joint Commission. They’re also a proud member of the Tampa Bay LGBT chamber. All their treatments are LGBTQ+ inclusive.
