Rio Grande ATP Intensive Outpatient Treatment Taos serves the community of Taos, New Mexico, and provides substance abuse treatment for adults in an outpatient setting. They offer several levels of outpatient addiction treatment, starting with early intervention, outpatient treatment, an intensive outpatient program, and ending with aftercare.

Using an integrated approach with the 12 steps and cognitive behavioral therapy, you’ll receive a holistic treatment for substance abuse. They accept insurance carriers like Blue Cross Blue Shield, Molina, and United.

It’s good to know that if you’re involved in the court system and need to be monitored in some way, Rio Grande can provide compliance monitoring and drug testing. They also offer clinical assessments and screenings within hospitals and jails.

One thing that stood out to me was the free Emotional Healing Lecture Series on their website. There are six sessions with recorded videos that cover a variety of topics such as emotional sobriety, guilt and shame, grief and trauma, and spirituality. I like that Rio Grande talks about culturally competent treatment with sessions that can be individual, within a group, with a couple, or with family.
