About RHA Health Services – C3356 Comprehensive Care Center Asheville (Behavioral Health Services)

The C3356 Comprehensive Care Center of Asheville, North Carolina, is dedicated to serving people of all ages with outpatient mental health and addiction services. They also offer same day crisis stabilization services.

If you're not looking for an ongoing treatment program, or if you're unsure what you're looking for, they can still help. They connect people with community sources and host their support programs, like peer support groups.

Medicare and Medicaid are accepted here, as are other insurance plans.

Meeting Individuals Where They Are

Something I appreciate about C3356 Comprehensive Care Center is their recognition that not everyone can travel to the clinic, at least not all the time. There are many hurdles people face when joining a treatment program, but I feel this one is often overlooked: We take it for granted that everyone has the same level of access to these clinics.

Here, they solve the problem with services that meet you where you are physically. In house services are available, and for kids and teens and therapeutic services can be made available in schools. It's great that the stress of travel can be reduced like this and still make face to face meetings possible.

Mobile crisis stabilization services are accessible anywhere you are in the community, too. Assistance is never out of reach.

Walk In 24 Hour Care for Emergencies

Crisis care services are great tools for helping you when you're in crisis. Getting immediate access to a team that will listen to you and responds with what's needed for your situation can be encouraging when things are low and the challenges seem insurmountable. Just knowing you can get help when needed is a huge comfort to me.

But C3356 Comprehensive Care Center does something I don't commonly see: They offer multi day stays on site to help you stabilize. Many crisis services will refer and connect you with other locations (like hospitals) that can accommodate a short term stay. However, this facility has the space and resources on site to give you a safe environment and support to get you through the crisis.

Levels of Care

Outpatient Rehab

Outpatient rehab in North Carolina is often the next step for those who complete an inpatient program. This less restrictive treatment involves several hours of therapy per week, and accountability through 12-step meetings such as AA. You’ll continue this treatment as long as needed, which could be weeks, months, or years.

Dual Diagnosis & Mental Health

Some of the most common co-occurring mental health disorders include anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. When these are present alongside substance use disorder, dual diagnosis treatment in North Carolina is necessary to address both conditions.

Inpatient Rehab
